Joy Lu has been with R&P since 2012. Prior to joining R&P, she worked for over ten years as Senior Accounting Manager for the American multinational East Balt Bakery of Shanghai Co., Ltd., the main burger supplier of McDonald’s and KFC in mainland China.
She has extensive experience advising foreign companies on tax compliance, including IIT, VAT, and CIT optimization. She is experienced in accounting and tax planning in various industries, and reconciliation of financial statements so that they comply with both IFRS and Chinese GAAP.
Joy graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a LL.B. in accounting. She is a PRC Certified Public Accountant since 2003.
She speaks Mandarin, Shanghainese dialect, and English.
