On July 4th in Rotterdam, founding partner of R&P China Lawyers, Maarten Roos, presented to attendees of the Hong Kong SAR Establishment Day Seminar & VIP Dinner. In celebration of the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, the seminar topic was “The Belt and Road Initiative: Implications and Chances for Hong Kong and the Netherlands”.
Maarten spoke more specifically on “Supply Chain, Distribution and E-Commerce in China; Legal Aspects”, focusing on the opportunities the initiative will offer Dutch companies and how entrepreneurs can overcome challenges in China and Hong Kong.
