Before joining R&P, Annabella was a partner with Linklaters, where she has practised for over 18 years across its Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and London offices.
Annabella is a specialist in the financial sectors in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. She advises financial institutions on regulatory matters in connection with their operations in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland, including establishment and licensing, conduct of business requirements, compliance with AML/CFT requirements, client documentation and other areas across the banking, securities and insurance sectors. She also advises firms on responding to inspections and pre-enforcement actions by financial regulators.
She has also led numerous M&A and JV transactions in Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland across multiple sectors, and she regularly advises on general corporate and commercial matters under Hong Kong, English and PRC law.
Annabella is a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and a solicitor of England and Wales. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
