As Business Development Manager it is Bram’s responsibility to ensure that foreign companies specific needs regarding Corporate Services are covered, in their best interest, conform to the Chinese laws and regulations.
Serving as the bridge between international clients and the firm’s Chinese accounting and tax specialists he ensures that R&P provides services which go beyond mere compliance. He advises and assists international companies with business activities all over China on accounting services, general corporate matters, company formations, banking and tax advice.
In 2016 Bram started his career in China in numerous commercial roles before joining R&P. His client portfolios contained several of the biggest retailers in Europe and the USA, such as Aldi, Lidl and Walmart. He possesses a strong understanding of both Western and Chinese culture, which has proven to be invaluable to align mutual expectations and eliminate any misunderstandings between either party.
Educated at the Avans University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands he obtained a Bachelor in Commercial Economics, in which his optional courses had a clear focus on doing business with China.
He is fluent in English and Dutch, and always working on improving his Mandarin.
