CIETAC Shanghai (SHIAC): Maarten Roos appointed as arbitrator
On 11 April 2013, the CIETAC Shanghai organized a press conference, during which it formally announced its independence from the CIETAC headquarters in Beijing, and renamed itself the Shanghai International Arbitration Center, SHIAC in short.
During this Press Conference it also formally appointed a new panel of arbitrators. We are very proud that R&P founder and Managing Director Maarten Roos was appointed on this panel, as one of the few foreigners and the only appointed arbitrator from the Netherlands.
R&P frequently represents clients before the Shanghai International Arbitration Center as well as the CIETAC in Beijing, and looks forward to continue its positive working relationships with both these institutions.
